Welcome to the Lao National Unexploded Ordnance Programme (UXO LAO) website.

Lao National Unexploded Ordnance Programme (UXO Lao) is working in the nine most impacted provinces nationwide. UXO Lao clears land for agriculture and community purposes (e.g. schools, hospitals, temples and water supply) as well as other development activities. The UXO Lao has conducted five main activities as such Roving task (RV), Technical Survey (TS), Non-Technical Survey (NTS), Cluster Munitions Hazard (CHA) and Community Awareness (CA) these main activities are related to the new concept operations of UXO Lao.

UXO Lao has been operational since 1996; it currently employs 1060 national staffs and also the largest UNDP supported program in the country.
